Other information

One of the primary challenges for this project was the strict deadline: delivering a robust solution in time for the holiday season, which typically kicks off in late November.

I joined the team on September 1, 2022, and immediately immersed myself in the project. The technical landscape was complex, but I rapidly absorbed the essential requirements to contribute effectively. Although the project was largely developer-led, creating some constraints on design freedom, I successfully advocated for key user experience improvements that were implemented in the final product.

Collaboration with both the design and development teams was exceptional. I regularly presented new design iterations during critique meetings with the full design team, utilizing their feedback to refine and polish the interface.

Working closely with Maria Zub, the lead UX designer who established most of the core components, we successfully delivered the project on schedule. While a few minor bugs surfaced post-launch—as is common with accelerated timelines—the overall customer feedback was highly positive. The enhanced user experience contributed to a noticeable increase in sales compared to previous years, underscoring the success of our efforts.
